After 12 months of innovative campaigns, the team at Polypipe Building Products have been awarded ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ at the 2015 Construction Marketing Awards.
Raising the profile of marketing professionals and their achievements, the Construction Marketing Awards showcases the industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing. Supported by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG), these awards provide an unparalleled opportunity for marketing recognition.
Only formed little over a year ago, the team at Polypipe have worked incredibly hard throughout 2015 to raise the brands profile via a range of media opportunities.
The plastic plumbing and heating manufactures had their underfloor heating endorsed by interior designer and ex Dragon’s Den star, Kelly Hoppen, who is now a brand ambassador for Polypipe’s underfloor heating range.
Designed to increase consumer demand for underfloor heating, the high profile campaign resulted in over 40,000 unique website visitors. The campaign also made a significant contribution to the number of registered Polypipe stockists and installers.
Following a survey of Good Housekeeping readers, who have Polypipe underfloor heating installed in their home, the product was awarded the Good Housekeeping reader recommended award. The survey requested reader feedback on reliability, ease of control and the simplicity of the installation process. Polypipe underfloor heating also appeared on prime time Sky TV advertisements which gained 1.5 million views.
Targeting installers and merchants, the team promoted their PolyMax streamline, push fit plumbing range through the creation of Max the Plumber, the face of Polymax. The campaign saw 50,000 installers receive free PolyMax samples. Max the Plumber spearheaded a ‘Win a Van’ competition where a brand new Ford Transit van, along with an array of other Polypipe prizes was given to one lucky installer in November 2015.
